Mark graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia, with the degree of Bachelor of Commerce in 1996 and the degree of Bachelor of Laws in 1997. He was admitted to the Peninsular Malaysian Bar in early 1999 after having completed the requisite period of 9 months’ pupillage in the Firm. Mark was the principal assistant of Ng Sai Yeang in the Dispute Resolution Department handling finance, banking, receivership and insolvency matters. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2004 and became a partner on March 1, 2005. Mark currently advises financial institutions, including local and foreign banks, as well as multi-national corporations on matters relating to enforcement of security, debt recovery and commercial litigation. He has acted for liquidators, administrators, receivers and managers, borrowers and stakeholders involved in insolvency disputes and corporate restructuring exercises
